Tunisie Telecom doubles ADSL speeds

16 Feb 2009

Tunisian fixed line incumbent Tunisie Telecom has announced that it will double the speeds of all new ADSL subscriptions at no additional cost to customers. The special offer, which will run for a month, will see a 256kbps connection be upgraded to 512kbps for TND20 (USD14.2) per month, while a 1Mbps line will be upgraded to 2Mbps for TND30 per month. The move is in line with presidential instructions to lower ADSL prices.
