Danish telecoms giant TDC plans to reorganise its operations along customer lines, creating new ‘Private’, ‘Business’ and ‘Operations and Wholesale’ divisions, it announced in a press release on Thursday. CEO of TDC, Henrik Poulsen, said: ‘In recent years, TDC has undergone an important transition where cost reductions were the main focus. This has resulted in TDC’s best earnings (EBIDTA) to date. We are now ready for the next step in the process, with a much increased customer focus. To ensure this focus we need an organisation that accommodates the customers’ need for simple and connected solutions across all platforms.’ Acting CEO of TDC Mobile Nordic, Jesper Theill Eriksen, will continue his role as CEO of Private, Carsten Dilling will become CEO of Operations and Wholesale, while CEO of Business Nordic, Klaus Pedersen, will be replaced by former VP for sales and business development of IBM, Jens Munch-Hansen.
