Minsk-based cable operator Kosmos TV now has a total of 100,000 subscribers, according to Broadband TV News quoting Telesputnik. The cableco, backed by the Russian Akado group, saw its TV and cable internet subscriber totals grow by 23.6% and over 100% respectively in the last twelve months, with internet users reaching 40,000. Kosmos, which launched internet access in 2002, now passes 300,000 homes in the Belarus capital with its cable network.
