BIDV chooses Tadrian Telecom for IP telephony network

The Bank of Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV), one of the country’s largest banks, has chosen IP telecoms solutions developer Tadrian Telecom to provide an IP telephony network of 60 systems throughout the country. The project, valued at over USD3 million, will allow all of BIDV’s branches to communicate using voice-over-IP telephony. Tadrian Telecom was chosen over industry giants Avaya, Alcatel and Siemens. Zeev Aviv, VP of Sales and Marketing at Tadiran Telecom said of the deal, ‘Vietnam is one of the fastest growing ICT markets in the world. Vietnamese companies and institutions seek the cost-efficiency and flexibility provided by IP telephony networks and we are happy to oblige.’
