Cellcom and NetVision link up to offer mobile and internet packages

18 Dec 2008

Israeli mobile operator Cellcom and broadband provider NetVision have announced a partnership to offer a mobile internet service as a single package, Globes Online reports. Cellcom will offer a package combining mobile airtime and fixed line internet for a fixed monthly rate priced at ILS99 (USD26.53); customers will have to take an 18 month contract for the service. The announcement comes after Cellcom’s rival Pelephone announced a similar service of its own. Bezeq subsidiary Pelephone has however said it will offer all services in partnership with other companies belonging to its parent, rather than form links with other providers.
