Macedonian operator Cosmofon is offering new customers to its ALLO fixed telephony service the chance to make calls for six months without paying a monthly subscription charge. PressCut reports that anyone signing up to an ALLO package by 31 December 2008 will be able to pay a monthly subscription fee on alternate months only for a whole year. Cosmofon launched its ALLO service in June this year when it expanded its portfolio to include fixed telephony services.
In a separate story, T-Mobile’s Macedonian mobile unit has unveiled a number of new benefits for post-paid and pre-paid business customers. The operator has launched a New Year’s campaign in which every pre-paid customer can receive a free mobile phone by topping up their accounts with MKD3,000, MKD6,000 or MKD9,000 worth of credit. In addition, a new post-paid tariff model Flex has been introduced providing flat-rate cross-network calls with prices starting at MKD3.1 per minute, depending on the customer’s package. T-Mobile also says that customers can now switch to a post-paid plan at any time, without losing their existing number and prefix – something that has been unavailable until now.
