Paraguay’s state-run PSTN operator Copaco expects to launch VoIP services next week, reports BNamericas, quoting local newspaper La Nacion. According to the report, Copaco already has the IP numbering to offer the new VoIP service, which will cost end-users approximately the same as a basic telephony line. The country’s telecoms watchdog Conatel issued a resolution in June allowing the telco to launch VoIP.
