APBT 3G breaks even

Asia Pacific Broadband Telecom (APBT) has reported its Taiwanese 3G service reached breakeven in October, two months earlier than originally scheduled. The company claimed 1.77 million subscribers at the end of November and predicts this will have risen to 1.8 million at the end of December 2008. It aims to reach 2.3 million by the end of 2009.
