Tigo signs up 10,000 3G subscribers

BNamericas reports that Colombian mobile operator Tigo has signed up 10,000 3G customers. According to local press, Tigo’s W-CDMA network, which was launched in October, has been deployed in the capital Bogota, as well as in Cali, Barranquilla, Bucaramanga and Cartagena.
