The US fixed line operator Windstream has completed its USD60 million cash sale of wireless network assets in North Carolina to AT&T. The deal includes approximately 52,000 cellular subscribers, spectrum licences and cell sites covering an area of North Carolina which is home to around 450,000 people. Windstream inherited the wireless assets when it acquired North Carolina-based telco CT Communications last year.
