Nianet launches BroadSoft-based FMC services for enterprise customers

VoIP application software specialist BroadSoft has announced that Nianet, a Danish provider of virtual private network (VPN) and internet services, will use its BroadWorks VoIP application platform to deliver hosted unified communications services to enterprises throughout Denmark. Nianet operates in all major cities in Denmark, and its customers include the top 200 Danish enterprises. The service is branded Fibertel and will provide hosted PBX, unified messaging and advanced calling features to enterprise customers. Nianet will implement the BroadWorks Anywhere Fixed-Mobile Convergence (FMC) feature, which facilitates ‘sticky handover’ between IP and GSM/3G environments.
