Incumbent operator Telecom Italia (TI) has no intention of selling its German operations, despite recurring rumours that it is looking to dispose of HanseNet (Alice), its chief executive said on Saturday, reports Reuters. Franco Bernabe said that TI would not sell the DSL provider. When asked if he would rule out a sale for good, Bernabe said ‘yes’.

Rival German broadband operators United Internet and Versatel are both said to have an interest in purchasing HanseNet
