Bouygues launches IPTV service

Broadband TV News reports that French telco Bouygues Telecom has launched its IPTV offer using the so-called ‘BBbox’. Under the offer, Bouygues is delivering a basic tier of services including 51 TV channels, broadband access, fixed line telephony and up to three hours mobile phone credit for EUR39.90 (USD52.85) per month. For an additional EUR9.90 per month, subscribers can add a further 24 channels to their subscription including evergreen favourites such as BBC World News, ESPN Classic, Yacht & Sail, Motors TV, M6 Music Hits, M6 Music Rock, M6 Music Black, Fun TV, MCM Top, MCM Pop, Trace TV, The Karaoke Channel, Baby TV and Boomerang.
