Lithuanian incumbent telco TEO LT has posted a 5.3% year-on-year increase in consolidated nine-month revenues to LTL613 million (USD242 million), and a net profit rise of 5.7% to LTL129 million in the same period. At the end of September 2008 TEO had 286,000 broadband internet subscribers, up by 54,000 in twelve months. It also claimed a total of 47,500 users of its Gala IPTV/DTT services at the end of the third quarter. The Gala IPTV platform was launched in October 2006, and TEO added a video on demand (VoD) service in December 2007. TEO is 60%-owned by the Swedish incumbent TeliaSonera via its holding vehicle Amber Teleholding.
