Zain upgrades pre-paid systems

15 Oct 2008

Cellular operator Zain Kuwait has selected Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) to upgrade its pre-paid system with the latest release of the NSN charge@once solution. Zain says the upgrade will leave it better positioned to improve customer focus and offer innovative new services. ‘As 70% of our customers are pre-paid, our revenue is closely tied to their satisfaction,’ said Zain CEO Barrak Al-Sabeeh. ‘In order to serve them even better, we selected the Nokia Siemens Networks pre-paid solution as it allows us to quickly and flexibly respond to changing customer needs and focus our offering on customer preferences.’ Zain is Kuwait’s largest cellco in terms of subscribers, with 1.7 million customers.
