Rural Kansas gets WiMAX network

WiMAX equipment vendor Redline Communications has been selected by Nex-Tech to supply infrastructure for a multi-city WiMAX network deployment in Kansas. Nex-Tech, a subsidiary of Rural Telephone Service Company, will use Redline 3.65GHz base stations and customer premises equipment (CPE) to take high speed internet services to rural areas not currently covered by fixed broadband networks.
