RCOM expects CAPEX to decline in the next fiscal year

Indian mobile operator Reliance Communications (RCOM) expects its capital expenditure to decline in its fiscal year 2009-10, Reuters is reporting citing RCOM chairman Anil Ambani said. RCOM has reportedly set aside INR500 billion (USD10.5 billion) for investment on building its mobile network over the fiscal years 2007-08 and 2008-09; the operator successfully won a pan-India GSM licence in January 2008 and expects to expand its GSM network to match its current CDMA infrastructure.
