Nortel kit to quadruple Bell bandwidth

Bell Canada has announced that it has bought 40Gbps fibre-optic technology from Nortel Networks to roughly quadruple its transport network transmission speeds in its Montreal-New York, Toronto-Chicago and Toronto-Montreal traffic routes. Financial terms were not disclosed.
