France’s telecoms industry regulator the Autorite de Regulation des Communications Electroniques et des Postes (Arcep) yesterday announced plans to launch a public consultation on wholesale mobile termination rates – the cost network operators charge each other to connect calls. Dow Jones reports the consultation will run until 6 October and the results will be used to set new ceiling rates for tariffs, which are scheduled to be implemented from 1 July 2009.
