Telecom New Zealand has launched a new service for small business customers which brings together all its communications and online services under a single umbrella. The telco says its new Telecom Business Hub is a one-stop shop which will offer small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) customers services such as broadband services, tailored call packages, web hosting and design, PC and server monitoring, e-mail services and call management solutions. Telecom’s head of business marketing, Victoria Crone, says the country’s half a million SMEs ‘need the IT solutions that previously were really only available to large corporates’. She adds: ‘SMEs contribute almost 40% to the value-added output of New Zealand’s economy each year, and Telecom wants to contribute to that output by enabling SMEs to make the most of their online and broadband activity.’
