20 Aug 2008

Hong Kong’s City Telecom (HK) has announced its withdrawal from a consortium set up to bid for the contract to build Singapore’s next generation national broadband network. The operator did not give the reasons for its decision but said that its lead role in the Infinity consortium would be taken up by StarHub. City Telecom (HK), StarHub and MobileOne Asia (M1) signed an agreement to bid on the NGN project in April this year.
