Safaricom mobile broadband

Kenya’s largest cellular operator Safaricom has launched a broadband internet service with speeds of between 3.2Mbps and 7.2Mbps in Mombasa. The cheapest tariff for low users costs KES1,999 (USD30.55) per month and lets the customer download 700MB of data per month. A data bundle for executives costs KES3,999 and lets users download 2GB. Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) have two options at KES6,999 per month and KES10,000 per month, offering limits of 5GB and 8GB respectively.
