Moscow ISPs combine

The Moscow-based broadband internet provider NetByNet has acquired rival ISP Internet Interwave for around USD10 million. A report from Broadband TV News says NetByNet is Moscow’s fourth largest internet provider, with around 180,000 subscribers. Internet Interwave had previously been linked as a takeover target for Corbina Telecom, which is a subsidiary of cellular operator Vimpelcom.
