Une launches IPTV

Colombian operator Une (formerly EPM Telecomunicaciones) has launched IPTV services in capital Bogota as well as Medellin, writes BNamericas citing local newspaper La Republica. Company president Miguel Cardona said that the offering included 105 video channels, 50 audio channels and on-demand services. According to the report, the company has invested USD110 million in getting the service off the ground and expects to reach between 300,000 and 500,000 subscribers in the first year of operations.
