The Bangkok Post reports that Triple T Broadband, the wholly owned broadband internet arm of TT&T, is preparing to launch a WiMAX pilot project for e-learning in Chiang Rai in September as part of a planned two-year THB4 billion (USD120 million) nationwide network rollout plan. A TT&T executive said Triple T had signed a contract for the supply of WiMAX equipment with US-based vendor Cisco, due to be delivered next month, in order to roll out WiMAX-based services in 21 universities.
