Itisaluna has embarked on its second phase of expansion which will see its fixed wireless network rolled out to the provinces of Alfurat Al Awsat and the southern provinces of Iraq. Business Intelligence Middle East reports that the move follows the company’s successful first expansion phase when services were initiated in Baghdad and Basra earlier this year. Upon completion of this second phase, Itisaluna’s CDMA-based network will cover approximately 65% of Iraq. The company plans to reach 100% of the country by the end of 2008.
