TelComp requests delay on telecoms amendment hearings

Brazil’s competitive telecommunications association TelComp has requested that the regulator Anatel postpone its upcoming public hearing on changing the telecoms law for 90 days, BNamericas writes. The hearing is currently scheduled to take place on 17 July, but TelComp – which broadly supports the debate – says the discussion period suggested by Anatel is too brief, according to the document sent to the watchdog.
