Dutch mobile revenues totalled EUR1.53 billion (USD2.37 billion) in the first three months of this year, down 1.6% on the previous quarter, and 0.6% lower than the figure recorded in Q1 2007, Telecompaper reports. The fall would have been lower, the company said, if growth in messaging and data services had not been so strong. However, revenues generated from voice calls services dropped 6.2% year-on-year and 3.7% quarter-on-quarter, according to the Dutch group’s quarterly market monitor. The market is expected to grow by, at most, 3% this year, as reductions in roaming prices and mobile termination rates keep voice revenues under pressure.
