Telekom Slovenije snaps up H-Communications

4 Jun 2008

Telekom Slovenije has announced that it has bought ‘Class II’ fixed line operator H-Communications for an undisclosed price. ‘This acquisition will … enable us to cover the entire Albanian teritory,’ Dusan Mitic, vice president of Telekom’s management board, told a news conference. The Slovenian telco entered the Albanian market last year when it bought the country’s largest ISP AOL SP as part of a wider plan to expand into other markets in the region.
