Celcom inks deal with NSN for 3G upgrades

Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) has announced it has won a contract to expand Celcom’s 3G network with HSPA technology. No financial details have been provided. According to TeleGeography’s GlobalComms database, Celcom is Malaysia’s second largest cellco by subscribers, claiming a 31.2% share of the market at the end of 2007.
