Mobily, Saudi Arabia’s second largest cellular operator in terms of subscribers, says it plans to invest SAR2.4 billion (USD639 million) to improve its offerings for corporate users. The figure includes the SAR1.5 billion already announced as part of Mobily’s acquisition last year of WiMAX licensee Bayanat al-Oula. Mobily says that by the end of this year it will have invested a total of SAR7 billion in its networks, with the company having launched three years ago this month.
