APBT revises 2007 net loss figures

27 May 2008

Taiwanese fixed line and wireless operator Asia Pacific Broadband Telecom (APBT) has revised its initial financial figures for 2007, which showed a sizeable net loss for the year. The firm says its earlier estimates of a cumulative reduction in asset value were too high and it has now reported a net profit of TWD147 million (USD4.5 million) in 2007. The firm knocked around TWD3 billion from its original asset reduction figures, DigiTimes reports. APBT had 1.45 million mobile customers at the end of April 2008.
