Germany’s T-Mobile, part of the Deutsche Telekom group, could sell the fixed line broadband business it acquired when it purchased Orange Netherlands, but only if it gets a sensible offer, reports Reuters citing T-Mobile International’s CEO Hamid Akhavan as saying. ‘For a proper valuation, I would have disposed it. If I don’t get that, then we’re operating it. It’s a good business,’ Akhavan said. T-Mobile bought France Telecom’s Dutch business last year for USD2 billion including around 500,000 broadband internet customers as part of the deal.
