New router offers multiple connections via a single SIM

United Arab Emirates cellco Etisalat has launched a 3.5G mobile router which offers downlink speeds of up to 7.2Mbps and up to 32 simultaneous connections via a single 3.5G-enabled SIM card. The Etisalat router costs AED999 (USD272) and has been introduced in response to growing demand for mobile broadband internet services in the Gulf state. The wireless device features an in-built modem and is compatible with both handsets and PCs.
