Elsewhere, Chunghwa has selected Harris, a communications and information technology company, to provide its integrated broadcast solutions to support the telco’s multimedia-on-demand interactive TV services, delivered over broadband lines. The Harris equipment will be used to build a new IPTV head-end that will support up to 200 channels and a master control room that will oversee five channels of original content.
