Rostelecom purchases 68% in RTComm.RU

Following Rostelecom’s rejection of two offers from Synterra for its 31.59% share in RTComm.RU, Rostelecom is now buying out 68.41% of the company from Synterra to become the sole owner of the Russian ISP. The deal priced at USD66 million should be completed within two months. RTComm.RU provides internet access services for operators and information and communication services for corporate customers. It currently has access points in 130 cities across the Russian Federation.
