Quaestus to invest a further USD20m in Metronet

Croatian investment group Quaestus Private Equity Fund has promised to invest a further HRK94 million (USD20 million) in fixed line and broadband operator Metronet. The capital will be used for further development of Metronet and its advanced infrastructure, Croatia Today reports. Metronet CEO Zeljko Lukac said that the company is aiming to be Croatia’s leading integrated telecoms provider for corporate customers. Metronet has over 2,300 business users, and operates over a 2,600km proprietary fibre-optic network, with its own infrastructure covering 36 locations.
