Arcor to introduce mobility to its hosted corporate networks

3 Apr 2008

German telco Arcor is working with Canadian vendor Nortel to introduce a mobile element to its corporate VoIP offering. The new feature, dubbed ‘Central Phone’, will allow workers to connect mobile phones to their company’s office network enabling business travellers to use the same features and services in any location, whether using their cellphones or their desk phones. Arcor recently demonstrated Central Phone at the CeBIT 2008 trade fair in Hannover, and hopes to launch commercially before the end of this year.
