Israel’s largest cellco by subscribers has announced its results for the twelve months ended 31 December 2007. Revenue rose 7.6% to reach ILS6 billion (USD1.5 billion), up from ILS5.6 billion in 2006. EBITDA increased 13.5% to ILS2.1 billion, equivalent to an EBITDA margin of 35%, up from 33.2% in 2006. Net profit jumped 29.7% to ILS1.3 billion. Subscriber numbers were reported to have increased by 189,000 in the year, to over three million by the end of 2007. Cellcom reported that approximately 419,000 of its customers were connected to its 3G network.
