Internode unwraps Naked ADSL2+

13 Mar 2008

Following a four month trial, Australian broadband provider Internode has launched the Naked ADSL2+ service at 450 exchanges, delivering ADSL2+ high speed internet over a dial tone-free copper line, which excludes some traditional telephony functions such as faxing. The launch comes following a network agreement with Optus Wholesale, which increases Internode’s current footprint of 100 ADSL2+ equipped telephone exchanges to 450 across Australia. The service will initially be available to new subscribers only and offers speeds of up to 20Mbps/820kbps (downstream/upstream).
