Polish telco Exatel, an arm of domestic power utility PGE, has announced that it will launch WiMAX-based services to business users using software and equipment supplied by Proximetry and Tranzeo Wireless Technologies. The wireless broadband network will use 3.5GHz pico base stations and subscriber units which will be powered by Proximetry’s AirSync intelligent provisioning and management software. Exatel’s initial network rollout will focus on three major cities, with deployments in over 20 cities by the end of 2008.
