Rostelecom increases stake in ISP

Russian long-distance operator Rostelecom has increased its stake in the internet service provider RTComm.RU, acquiring shares from Synterra for an undisclosed amount. Rostelecom’s stake in the ISP will increase from 31.59% to around 99.5%, according to a report from RBC. RTComm.RU has data centres in Moscow, Novosibirsk and Rostov-upon-Don while its IP network reaches 130 Russian cities.
