Iceland Telecom to enter Danish business market

After investing around EUR65 million (USD99.9 million) in five Danish companies, Siminn, also known as Iceland Telecom, is ready to enter the corporate telecoms market in Denmark. The five acquisitions, Webpartner, Ventelo, Businessphone, CTI Billing and Prime Networks will be consolidated under the name Siminn Danmark. Rasmus Helmich, the manager of the Icelandic incumbent’s Danish operation, said that Siminn would be concentrating on providing services to medium-sized companies with between 50 and 250 staff.
