France Telecom’s Orange unit today announced the launch of a new all-in-one broadband internet offer for its fixed line customers, the ‘optimale decouverte internet’ (optimal internet discovery). The operator says the new service will provide its users with the ‘chance to discover the internet with ease while still benefiting from the advantages of their fixed line’. The no-commitment triple-play plan includes internet access, TV and voice calls with the line rental included for EUR39.90 (USD61.31) per month. For that the user will receive Orange France’s ‘1 MegaMax’ broadband package with unlimited access; and Digital TV with more than 60 channels, including the major French channels, free DTT channels, thematic channels and VoD service access with more than 3,000 programmes on offer. Digital TV access works via the livebox (EUR3 a month), on the condition of eligibility and payment of a EUR49 deposit for the set-top box.
