Alcatel-Lucent has won a contract to deploy a campus-wide Wi-Fi network for the University of Calabria in Arcavacata, Italy. The vendor is supplying its OmniAccess Wireless products to blanket the 200 hectare campus area with WLAN coverage. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
