The Russian mobile operator SkyLink says it plans to invest USD160 million this year in the expansion of its CDMA networks as part of its USD300 million-USD400 million budget for 2007/08. SkyLink offers mobile data services over CDMA-450 networks in Moscow and other areas; last year it won new concessions to allow it to offer GSM-based services, though it will not begin rolling out new infrastructure until lawsuits regarding the licensing process are settled.
