Jazztel net loss narrows to EUR101.7 million

Spanish telco Jazztel said its net loss narrowed to EUR101.7 million in the full year to 31 December 2007, from a loss of EUR218.1 million in 2006, and expects the net loss to narrow further to EUR85 million-EUR95 million in 2008. In 2007 it registered an EBITDA loss of EUR3 million, compared with a loss of EUR136.7 million in 2006, and expects to record a positive figure in 2008 of between EUR5 million -EUR10 million. 2007 revenue rose to EUR302.7 million from EUR277.7 million. Operationally, as of the end of 2007 Jazztel claimed 254,686 ADSL subscribers, up 3% year-on-year, and 22,770 dial-up users (down 24% y-o-y).
