Eesti Telekom, the Estonian telco majority owned by TeliaSonera, has reported a 16% rise in fourth-quarter pre-tax profit to EUR29.1 million (USD43 million). Wireless operations reported a fall in net profit of 18.6% to EUR15.3 million, while broadband profits rose 40.1% to EUR9.3 million. Group revenues in the last quarter of 2007 climbed 1% to EUR100.3 million. At the end of December the group claimed 765,000 wireless customers to its EMT subsidiary, of which 161,000 were 3G users.
