BrT’s net income dips 23% in Q4

Brazil’s third largest fixed line operator by subscribers Brasil Telecom Participacoes (BrT), says its fourth-quarter net income dipped 23% year-on-year to BRL205.6 million (USD115.6 million), due to one-time expenses of BRL78 million relating to staff, tax and civil losses. For the full year, however, BrT’s net income climbed 43% to BRL671.3 million and net revenues increased 4.9% to BRL2.87 billion.
