The US WiMAX operator DigitalBridge Communications has raised USD20 million in venture capital from a number of investment firms, including Paladin Capital Group, redShift Ventures, CNF Investments and Novak Biddle Venture Partners. The telco has already raised USD11 million in an earlier round of financing. DigitalBridge currently offers fixed WiMAX services in the cities of Rexburg and Pocatello, Idaho; Missoula, Montana; and Washington, Indiana. The new funding will help finance an expansion to over 15 new markets covering around 2.5 million people in the US West and Mid-West.
